Introduction
The telecommunication business company Telelink situated in Auckland needs to adapt
the cloud computing techniques and tools and the various processes and process of adaptation is
also described in this report. The company Telelink is a growing company and the chief
information officer is well aware of the cloud computing adaptation benefits and also the storage
facility that is needed by the company s it is in its growing stage in Auckland. The company
Telelink is regarded as one of the most leading Telecommunications Company in the region and
it is also in its growing stage. The cloud computing has become very much inevitable for the
information technology and telecommunication field and thus it also provides huge data storing
capacities to the small and medium scale companies in the domain (Almorsy, Grundy and Müller
2016). The cloud based system upon adaptation provides the companies with a better storage
facility when compared to the local data centers that are located in the company premises and the
cloud based systems also provide better flexibility and adoptability.
The case study provided here depicts the current IT infrastructure of the company
Telelink and also signifies the need for the adaptation to the cloud based servers and storage
facility and thus this adaptation process will eventually benefit the performance of the company.
The employees and the current infrastructure of the company Telelink should be well adaptive in
nature and thus the cloud based system should also support them and the chief information
officer should also choose the most appropriate service model for the company (Avram 2014).
The report also describes the investment cost and strategic options that might be needed in
adopting such a cloud based model and also the methods that must be used for the up gradation
purpose and the existing infrastructure of the company Telelink is also described.
