INTRODUCTION The Business ethics refer as the business laws , policies and regulations which guide the business ethical code of the company. Business ethics helps in built the trust and loyalty between the customers and cooperation by the equal treatment and fairness. The company Tesco is their largest multinational groceries and retailing industry in the London, United Kingdom. In this report will discuss the ethical approaches of Tesco company and their business ethics conduct as well as elaborate the CSR activities of the company to influence the society and employees towards the company and helps in build the brand image. MAIN BODY Ethical code of practice which adopt the organization: Ethical code of conduct are clarified the organization values, mission and visions. Tesco is a strong company who have a good reputation and quality of products and services in the market place. The ethical code of conduct practice is dined that what is morally correct and not correct. In other words what is right and what is wrong in the business organization (Anderson and Burchell, 2021). To maintain a company reputation and their success in the competitive market than company must havemanaged thecode of conduct in the business as well as legal conducts for the build the success for the business. The Tesco company commitment with the business ethical practices that detail the fundamental behaviour of business ethical behaviour as also describe the responsibilities of all the employees, directors, officers and company representatives. Tesco describes as the cultural tree and commitment to the business ethical conduct. The core values are rooted under the root of tree which consider the safety, ethics and compliance. The company values system is not compromised and their cultural values of discipline, teamwork and services are determined the values in the action. The Tesco company is always consider the credibility and reputation in the business relationships as well as they are being hones and loyal with the Tesco employees, manager, business community, shareholders and their customers. In order to illustrate the ethical values of the company manage the supervision by guiding the employees. Tesco is committed to the high standard of business ethical conduct and practices which all are applies the rules, regulation and laws to promote the ethical conduct such
as fair, full, accurate, timely and discloser. The code of conduct also should guide the other company guidelines and policies that helps in find out the various information for the Tesco company (Craft, 2018). Tesco doesn't tolerate the illegal activity which are conducted on the organization behalf's. Tesco also consider the conflicts of interest between the employees and Tesco can be abuse by the personal benefits of the other people but has specific policies which consider the employee's and use of company email, internet and electronic sources as well as they cannot be doing fraud, theft and misuse the property of company. Values and ethics in different cultures to influence the attitude of CSR Ethics are important in the business organization for manage the business in efficient manner and stop the misbehaviour in the companies. Some people behaviour in the organization are acceptable but few are not so, business are committed to the business ethical code of conduct for the business reputation and goodwill (James and Cooper). Personal values and beliefs present the behaviour in the organization. The personal behaviour can help in achieve the business decision-making as well as attempting to resolve the conflicts which are considered in the business organization. Mangers are also involved and guide the decision-making and conflict resolution and its helps in subordinate to work easily with the ethical environment and value system. The values are influence the approaches a conflicts. In example: if the managers ask you opinion and guideline for the report and project which are not favourable for the employees but employees should response the manager their opinion regarding the report must be polite and candidly (Mohapatra, 2021). The values of the company affect the employee's motivation because they are motivated by the reward and appreciation as well as provide opportunities to make more money and promotethem.In the ethicalbehaviouremployeeshave tomakedecision regradingthe organization that what is wrong and what id right for the business. The ethical behaviour of the company is influence by the society values. In other words, the wrong ethical behaviour and culture will affect the society norms as well as customers of the company. Because business ethic codes of conduct attract the customers and society towards the company in the competitive marketplace to achieve the business target market. In addition, take responsibilities of the society and economic. In the societal responsibilities include the promoting the education, and charity for the society which helps in influence the society at large in various ways, it encourages the employees and customers to attract and become a social responsible for their healthy environment (Nyame-Asiamah and Ghulam, 2019). Tesco also provide healthy food to their customers and employees at the affordable price. In addition, economic responsibilities of the Tesco is contributed the development and growth as well as provide opportunities to employees supplying goods at reasonable price to expand the economic growth and development. Organizational ethical approaches: The organizational ethical approach is based on the employees personal values and it is responsible on the basis of influencing the top managers to the supervisor. It is important to follow the ethical approaches in the organization (Trevino and Nelson, 2021). The company are considered the whistle blowing hotline approach for focusing on the employee's behaviour within the organization because the employees illegal practice can affect the organizational reputation that's why the Tesco company adopt the business ethics conduct for maintain the ethics in the business as well as to improve the working condition of the employees. There are various problems which can be faced by the company if they are notfollowed the business ethics that are related to employees loyalty, company brand image and their employees and customers loss, etc. In addition, the other approach which are followed the exercising ethical leadership that are based on the policies and procedures to identify the employees problems as well as improve the value's system of the organization (Hagendorff, 2020). The ethical leadership is beneficial in the minimizing the harm and maximizing the benefits of the company to achieve the business success and their development and growth. The Waivers business ethics code of conduct for the directors, persons and employees with the legal authority to attach the company. The waiver can be granted when company the best interest is considered because the Waiver are limited to protect the Tesco. In the context of Tesco company follow the business ethical practices which
are related to the values system and manage the working environment of the employees on the basis of cultures and beliefs. CONCLUSION In the conclusion, Business ethics are policies and regulations which are considered on the business cultures and their values for build the better reputation of the company. As the conclusion, this report discussed the business ethical practice which are considered by the Tesco company for the good reputation and brand image. In order to elaborate the organizational ethical approaches which follow by the Tesco company include the Whistle bowler hotline, Waiver and ethical leadership as well as discuss the CSR activities and their strategies for attract the customers and employees in the Competitive marketplace and target the customers for business growth and development as well as build the good brand image of the company.
