INTRODUCTION
Leadership is defined to be one of the prominent aspects other in a business or an educational
scenario. Leadership is necessary in order to move ahead with the conditions as well as the
formulations to lead the team as well as to bring about a variation such that people will get to
understand different ideologies and the perspective can be enhanced (Harris and Jones, 2018).
One may not be able to identify the choices that are in regard to leadership at the circumstances
that can be portrayed upon bringing about the results that are oriented with leadership.
Leadership is like an abode that will bring about a lot of opportunities that are in regard to
maintaining a standard for the organisation as well as for the individual development. This entire
report will bring about the reflection towards the leadership upon personal development and the
qualities that will have to be improved upon bringing about a good leadership facility. All the
components that are a part of leadership or highlighted in the report with prior importance that is
given to every quality. The organisation in which I have been working is Tesco. Tesco is one of
the largest retailers in the United Kingdom that supplies groceries and also all the requirements.
MAIN BODY
Case: Working in the Tesco company as a project lead has made me analyse factors that will
reflect upon deriving means. This has improved my personification and I have identified that the
there are certain areas where I will have to develop my leadership skills.
Scenario: the industry is a retailing one and I have been appointed as the sales lead that will have
to take responsibility over the sales prospect of the organisation. to deal with this procedure there
are certain qualities that I will have to possess by being a leader. Few may not be even included
and that will ensure to be the ones that can be improved upon.
Complexities in leadership
As a team lead and taking up necessary steps to derive means I have faced certain complexities
that have paved way into the learning things. There are certain complexities that will fall in
regard to maintaining the qualities of leadership. The person who is dealing with leadership will
first have to continue being a process oriented personality that will be interactive over different
phenomenal aspects. In this regard reflecting upon my complexity is that will determine the
leadership qualities within my knowledge will include the focus that I usually put over the
circumstances maintaining interaction with the subordinates (Castillo and Hallinger, 2018).
Treating subordinates as somebody who would bring about different results that are oriented

with the work that a stipulated in the organisation is one of the quality that I usually in by. In this
regard the complexity that I usually face is the term interaction. Interaction is derived to be the
set of components that will highlight the feasible measures upon discussing the aspects that will
have to be worked upon. In an organisation this interaction plays a major role and with regard to
leadership this is also defined to be one of the stature which will have to be sharpened. My social
interaction is brought about by the network that I am dealing with and being a senior executive in
the organisation and looking after all the project orientation as well as the changes that will have
to be made in the organisation this ended terms to be one of the complex measure maintaining
the leadership behaviour (Bush and et.al, 2019). Although the team performance is not up to the
mark, I will have to cope up with all the formulations and will at times be able to bring about
new innovation and quality promotions in the organisation. This requires a potential and a
research that will have to be oriented to sharpen leadership skills.
Leadership Theory
The leadership as well as the management theories that are in due of maintaining the qualities of
a very good leader will have to be maintained. In this regard I will have to follow different
theories that will reflect upon the choices of being the best leader and can also imbibe all the
qualities that are required to be processed (Delanoy and Kasztelnik, 2020). The different theories
of leadership in this regard that will have to be followed by me include:
Great man Theory of leadership: the great man Theory of leadership will portray upon
circumstances which require leadership as the sole purpose and the personality traits are said to
be highlighted in this regard. Based on this theory of leadership it is more compelling aspect in
my regard where I will have to follow the basic simplicity that is to be reflected over the
decisions that I usually make. Businesses as well as the organisational leadership will usually
turn into a common platform where people will identify the goal and will work accordingly to
bring about the results that are oriented. My condition of leadership in this regard is to develop
the quality of motivation and I will also have to support the way I decide upon achieving the
goal. Also sharpening the thoughts as well as maintaining a pathway to guide the team to a level
of reaching the goal is also necessary to be implemented. This theory will reflect upon the skills
and limitations that will have to be considered and will also have to be taken care about while
dealing with the circumstances of the organisation.
