INTRODUCTION
Project Management (PM) can be defined as a process of leading the work of a team with
the help of which the projects goals and objectives are get achieved. The present report will
prepare the PM plan for the Transport of London (TFL) that wants to construct the road. Further,
the report will describe the methodology selected along with the Gantt chart showing total time
required to complete the project. The report will also conduct the stakeholder analysis and risk
analysis via providing proper strategies for risk mitigation.
TASK 1
Project Methodology
This is basically defines as method or practices with the help of which the project
manager can complete its project and achieve ultimate goals. For the present project plan,
waterfall methodology is best suitable and appropriate. It is because this method is one of the
most simple, easy to set up and logical method. If the project manager have identified and clear
objective then adaption & implementation of this method is beneficial. But on the other hand, the
Harrison and Lock (2017), argued that waterfall method is time consuming so their is a chance of
getting delay in project completion.

Critical Path
On the basis of above network diagram their are basically two path and that is:
Path 1: 1 + 2 + 4 + 5 + 9 + 10 + 20 + 21 + 22
Path 2: 1 + 2 + 4 +5+ 9 + 10 + 21 + 22
Calculation of critical path:
Path 1: 1 + 14 + 7 + 7 + 2 + 84 + 5 + 1 + 10 = 131
Path 2: 1 + 14 + 7 + 7 + 2 + 84 + 1 + 10 = 126
As critical path is the path which takes minimum time to complete the project thus in this case
Path 2 is critical because it takes shortest time i.e., 126 days.

Stakeholder Analysis

Health Secretary.
Project Sponsor.
Construction site managers.
Low

Machinery suppliers.
Local Residents.
Low Interest High Interest
On the basis of above stakeholder analysis, it is identified that their are three internal as
well as external stakeholders which have high interest but because of low power do not take part
in project plan. So, in order to solve the issues the appropriate communication strategy need to be
adopted by the company which helps in timely completion of road construction (Silvius, 2017).

TASK 6
Project Measurement
In order to measure the projects of road construction, the four factors need to be analyse and
that is:
Quality Expectation Acceptance Criteria Quality Specification Measurement to
control
The physical and
human resources used
for the construction of
road is of high quality
so that strong roads
will be build.
In order to complete
and accept the project
along with its
resources acquirement
the MoSCoW will be
used (Chen and et.al.,
2019).
Before using the raw
material in road
construction, proper
quality testing
procedure are will be
adopted. This helps in
achieving the aims of
the project (Harrison
and Lock, 2017).
In order to control
the risk attached
with the project,
regular
monitoring and
analysis of each
task will be done.
After that if the
project are not on
track then
meeting will be
conducted to
adopt the
strategies for
solving the issues.
This is one of the
best way to
measure the
project.
