Introduction
The following report deals with spider project which is the best example of situation
where project manager have minimum understanding regarding project life-cycle. Park
Corporation understood this benefits over some of the competitors. It is due to they have worked
on much successful project (Kerzner, 2017). Gray Anderson come up with outstanding
performance in the form of production engineer. In addition, Gray Anderson were unable to
completely meet the challenges of the project manager. He even failed to lead his team members
for overall success of this project that is blue spider. This particular project had a complete back
from the upper management champion by director (Meredith, Mantel Jr & Shafer, 2017). Park
Corporation makes use of matrix project management method for this blue spider project. This
was merely multi-disciplinary team where most of the team members come from various
functional unit.
The coming part deals with required changes in the project so that it can be successful.
The next part focus on the impact of changes on different parameter of project. All the required
steps of submitting change request has been discussed in brief.
Changes in this Project
Park Corporation tried to develop the project scope for blue spider prior to working with
on it. There is need for scope change with the project which had significant impact on the
performance of project as well as the stakeholders (Kivilä, Martinsuo & Vuorinen, 2017). Lack
of security around the selection of scope tends to become very much evident when team
members oversea the practices needed for change material in the given plan (Fleming &
Koppelman, (2016). The whole things needs to be done without notifying other who have
interest in this. Scope changes with the project come up with adverse effect on performance of

project. It ultimately result in change for the person working within the project. They are not
consistent in the way they act. In addition, it has also developed fears of practices which can
resulted in goals and objectives (Dawood, Siddle & Dawood, 2019). Some of the required issues
encountered in this project are
Poor Communication
Poor Skill of negotiation
Lack of Complete knowledge management
Handling Conflict
Poor priority
Issues related to leadership.
There is need for change in design parts of Spartan Missile.
Impact on Project
Scope change request can be used at the time of request or even addition or complete
subtraction based on scope of work. Scope change request can be managed as being a section of
pre-defined process of change (Nath, 2019). It is completely outlined for being the part of project
plan. Project scope change can change approved by project manager. There is need for following
certain procedure along with suitable authority for change approval.
There is need for identifying the required changes in the cost management plan and
financial plan (Perrotta et al., 2017). The changes in the cost should be completely based by Park
Corporation. Incorporation of new material within the project will lead to many administrative
with the project (Abdi, Taghipour & Khamooshi, 2018). If anyhow the project manager manages
administrative issues, the progression of the project will be affected to large extent.
