INTRODUCTIONBusiness environment is the sum total of all external and internal factors that influence abusiness. One should keep in mind that external factors and internal factors can influence eachother and work together to affect a business. For example, a health and safety regulation is anexternal factor that influences the internal environment of business operations (Linnenluecke,2017). Additionally, some external factors are beyond the control. These factors are often calledexternal constraints.This report will examine the range of different businesses and their ownership,it will alsoprovide knowledge about how businesses are organised to achieve their purpose. It is the third largest retailer in the worldmeasured by profits and ninth-largest retailer in the world measured by revenues. It has stores in12 countries across Asia and Europe and is the grocery market leader in the UK, Ireland andThailand. Tesco's main purpose is to create a value for customers to earn their lifetime loyalty.Tesco offers a wide range of products an d services from groceries,household products,clothingto insurance .It is retailer so therefore is the tertiary sector. They ensure that every person atTesco understands what is important about how we work together as a team and how customersare at the centre of what we do (Yin, 2017).
