OBJECT MODELLING21. System Vision Document:Problem Description: The first problem can be that the user may not withdraw fundseven if the balance amount is more than selected fund. The transaction history may not beprinted out. The transaction may end before disposing the cash resulting in incorrectly removingfund from user account. A receipt for the transaction may not be printed. Because of the brokelink between the ATM and Bank server, a transaction from one bank account to another will berejected. Another major problem of the product can be that the ATM may not recognize variouscards from other banks. The system may suffer from various technical difficulties like cardreader malfunctioning, damage in the cash dispenser and many more.Major System Capabilities: The system capabilities are as following.i.The system will be able to complete a transaction without any interferenceii.The will read the cards that the users will insert into the card readersiii.The system will output a response after five seconds if the inserted card is notrecognized. The customer can re-insert the card in such situationiv.The user can change the pin of the ATM card after successful verification of thecardv.The user will be able to enter the pin for three times. If the pin is not right in thesethree attempts then the card will be blocked by the ATMvi.The system will allow the user to choose account such as Savings, Credit andSuper SaverPossible Business Benefits: The main business profit can be achieved by advertisingother organizations’ services. The ATM can advertise various services at the home page before

OBJECT MODELLING3the user enters card into the card reader. The advertisements can also be done after the cash isdispensed. The ATM can ask the user if he/she need other assistance of continue transaction. Inthis page the advertisements can be shown. Another way of making profit is promoting business.The ATM machines can have a promotional section at the bottom or top of the interface. In thissection, the user will be seeing the other services that the organization provides. The ATMmachine can ask the user to seek service from the organization and have few interaction buttonsthat will force the user to see the promotional message.Stakeholder and User Descriptions: The stakeholders of the organization are ATM user,the banks, government, raw materials provider, technicians and the development team.ATM User: These kind of stakeholders are external users. They insert card into thesystem and carry out desired operations in the ATM. The user also uses the ATM machines fortransferring the cash from their accounts to another recipient. Banks: The banks are generally provide the ATM services to the customers. The usermust have a card that is related to a bank account for accessing the ATM functions. Government: The government defines the rules and regulations on the ATM services.Various countries and states have different rules on fund transfer, security pin of ATM card andmany more. The ATM must be designed by following these legislations.
