INTRODUCTION
This is a presentation based on the comparison between the Tesco and Sainsbury company that are
located in UK and are the best retail company.
The presentation will also state the differences between the Tesco and Sainsbury in the term of
their status, marketing and economy.
Further the presentation will describe the challenges both the company are facing at their own
level in order to take competitive advantage.
The presentation will also recommend the solutions to the companies so that they can easily
overcome their challenges.

STATUS COMPARISON
Tesco currently operates in 13 countries and UK’s first
largest grocery while Sainsbury has operations in UK
only with second largest supermarket chain.
Sainsbury has around 121200 employees in their
organization while Tesco has around 210000
employees in their business.
Tesco have around 7000 stores all over the world and
Sainsbury have 800 stores in UK only.
The organizational structure of the both Tesco and
Sainsbury company is boss and worker structure also
known as hierarchical.
