INTRODUCTIONA business becomes successful only when the managers of company have certain abilitiesand working styles. There are some certain skills which are needed to be possessed by managersso that tasks and activities can be effectually performed. Developing manager is highly essentialfor a company and that can be done by adopting some theories like management style and otherleadership styles. There are various kinds of benefits which are being availed by company whenmanager has adopted the developing nature (Beck, Demirgüç-Kunt and Levine, 2010). Goodcommunication and leadership skills provide assistance in attaining the personal andorganisational goals. All these features help the manager to maintain and regulate relation ofemployees and positive environment at workplace. It is highly essential for the manager toprovide effective guidelines in order to conduct operations in an effective manner. Companychosen for this report is Hotel Hilton which is a global brand which mainly provides hospitalityservices in hotels in more than 85 countries. There are various things which will be discussed inthis report like different management styles, leadership characteristics and communicationprocess which are being used in company along with personal SWOT analysis. Apart from that,theories of motivation which will be used within environment of company will also be discussedin brief. TASK 11.1 Comparison of two management styles which are used in two different hotelsCrucial role is being played by styles of management while organising the staff members.The major motive behind using these kinds of styles is uniting the employees and making themwork on same platform and getting high level of performance. This in turn will help in attainingthe desired objectives. Various management styles are there like authoritative, participative,Free-rein, affiliate and many more. There are unique features which are being used by all thesekinds of styles and thus, they have their own importance (Bianchi and et. al., 2011). Holiday Innand Hotel Hilton are two big brands that provide hospitality services of hotels and resorts. Thereare large number of employees who are working in order to accomplish their own targets.
