Introduction
In the present PowerPoint presentation learning will be shown about th
e contribution of development sessions in improving the professional
competence of General manager of Dorchester Luxury Hotel in
London (About Dorchester Hotel. 201). It is lavish and 5 star chain of ho
tel dealing in hospitality products and services. In this presentation,
learning will be shown regarding the assessment of own management
skills of manager. Further, Personal Swot analysis will be provided.

2.1 Assess own management skills performance
Presently, I am working as General manager in Dorchester Luxury hotel
in London. I am responsible for managing both the profit and cost
components of a organization income statement. It have to overlook all
the business function along with routine operations of hotel.
Further, I am responsible for proper planning, delegation, coordination,
staffing, organizing and decision making to acquire desirable revenue
making outcomes for the entity. My main concern is to support my
organization in attaining strategic aims and objectives(Ford, 2014).
I have to check proper coordination and harmonise functions of different
department. Being a general manager I have key responsibility of the
successful execution of the strategic plan. I am also required to maintain
positive work environment, it is my duty to resolve the complaints and
problems faced by employees
