Introduction
Doctrine refers to set of beliefs or principles, generally religious ones. Basically, it
implies systematisation of beliefs or body of instructions or teachings, principles that are taught
as teaching essence within specific branch of knowledge. This involves group of principles that
are taught via religion (Arthur, 2020). It implies system or body of teaching with respect to
peculiar subject. Evangelicals refers to worldwide trans-denominational movement in Protestant
Christianity which maintain belief that essence of Gospel comprises of doctrine of salvation
through grace only. Basically, it denotes organisation, person or church that are committed to
Christian gospel message this illustrates that Jesus Christ is savoir of humanity. This report is
based on roles that is played by tradition and scripture within development of doctrine. Along
with this, analysis will be illustrated in context of legitimacy and when this illegitimate.
Furthermore, contemporary issues that are faced by Evangelicals will also be illustrated.

The set of beliefs or belief which are religious or political ones that are being taught as
well as accepted via a peculiar group is referred to as doctrine. It essential to know that
development of doctrine do not implies new revelation. Public revelation has ended with echo of
Christ event, death of last apostle. There are various centuries in old and new Testament and at
that instance revelation was considered constitutive. It is liability of Catholic Church that abides
Presence of Holy Spirit in Church like a Soul of mystical body that makes obligation probable
and must be fulfilled by Church for preserving undiluted, unchanged and unmutilated message of
Christ (Chan, 2019). The Divine Revelation is entrusted to Catholic Church along with its
beauty, fullness and integrity that is possessed via a Church in founts of revelation that is Sacred
tradition as well as scripture. If there exist such concept like development of doctrine then
question occurs, How, what is unchangeable & what must remain unchanged like dogmas as well
as doctrine of Catholic Church will develop? In what sense, what is unchangeable cane be
changed legitimately.
There are different different heresies across history, in this century it comprises of heresy
of modernisation which is understood like a development of doctrine within completely in
inadequate manner. Theologians indicates that development of doctrine must be considered in
