I am Florence the head of family nursing practitioners department in the George Washington
medical centre where he is responsible of managing the entire department staffs, and also
offering nurse services, however I also serve as affiliate doctor where I where I do
clinician ,research and advocating in the various pediatric and family base settings. I started my
studies in nursing in year 2000 where I attained a diploma in nursing at Knoxville General
Hospital nursing college, later in 2003 I furthered my education and pursued Bachelor of Science
public health nursing at Florida state school of nursing, later did my masters program in science
nursing at George mason Washington university and later my doctorate degree at Texas
university.
Before joining the George Washington medical centre I worked in George Washington
university school of health in senior position as the head of school of medicine and as dean of
nursing department. After my degree program I travelled to some of developing countries like
Africa where I acted as the volunteer clinician where I assisted in provision of primary care,
HIV/AIDS training and treatments.
For like past two years from now, I had been working as an advanced practice nurse and nursing
researcher with the various groups of people living with HIV/AIDS in Washington DC. At this
moment am maintaining the nursing practice at the George Washington medical centre which is
mainly an infectious disease type of clinic that specializes on HIV/AIDS at south east
Washington DC.
I do the research mainly where I major in engaging the patients and taking personal care for the
people with HIV/AIDS, the international health care and socially determinate of health.

career and service delivery which includes the following:

ii. To ensure that the health related hunger or poverty is eradicated.
iii. To achieve universal education for all.
iv. To achieve universal and affordable health care.
v. To significantly reduce the children mortality rate.

vii. To minimize HIV/AIDS, malaria, cholera and other infectious diseases.

In my nursing career I belief in saving and nurturing the people's lives, supporting and training of
the patients and families, treatment to vulnerable and less fortune people in the society and all
this I can achieve this by doing what no other person can do, in a way that no one else can do,
despite of the challenges in the profession in order to achieve goal of being an expertise nurse.
