INTRODUCTION
Personal goals are the plan that individual set for him self they can long term goals or short term
goals that individual wants to achieve in the coming future, the personal goals are the very
essential as it helps in motivating an individual towards their achieving them. This report covers
the self refection about the career goals, the target role and what is required in order to achieve
those goals and also what are the gaps that are needs to be handled are also highlighted. In
addition to this the experience of tailoring the CV is also highlighted. Furthermore it also covers
the professional network and the action plan is also evaluated.
1. Career goals
The my goal is to start a small company, I am to start my own company which will deal
in selling clothes and supplement, my target is to work towards my goals of opening this small
business, I am planning to small my business in selling cloth and supplements with the
increasing demands, I think I can effectively start my small business more effectively. After
successful implementation of my business my target is to cater the major market and enhance my
customer base. The main aim is to increase profitability and satisfy the customers needs
effectively, I am planning to carefully analyse the needs of my customers and satisfy them
accordingly, my main target for the next 5 year is to create a strong brand image and caters large
customers base in the market.
2. Target role
Every individual has its goal of career which he wanted to achieve in his lifetime and .
once I completed my studies, I would like to open a small company which will specialises in
selling of cloths and supplements to the people who believes in being fit. I believe entrepreneurs
are the one can freely implement strategies for attracting the customers and increasing their sales.
For launching of my company, there will be required of qualified staff which has all the skills,
knowledge and experience related to retail industry. The person should have all the diploma or
bachelor degree related to marketing and sales and it should also have at least 2 years to
experience which is an essential requirement. The person should have negotiating skills along
with the communication skills so that the customers can freely ask their relevant queries
regarding the products. The preferred candidate can have bachelor as well as master degree in
marketing and sales stream from a recognised institution with more then 4 years of work

experience in retail industry as manager. In coming of 3 to 5 years, I believe that my organisation
can expand its business in at least 3 international countries which will provide not only clothing
and supplements but also serve all the fitness equipments to the people. This company will have
all the products that are demanded by the customers who are into fitness industries. It will cater
people to provide all the goods and services that they want, along with this, it also has an aim for
providing fitness instructor who can provide with the fitness diet to the people with the
supplements. The company is also as an eye on becoming the top international retail as well as
gym equipment supplier with their labelled products. I am also planning for launching my own
labelled products in clothing as well as gym equipment industries which provides all the services
to the customers. Though I don't have much knowledge, marketing and communication skills but
I will gain experience once I enter into this industry. I can develop these skills eventually which
will helps in selling of the products and communication skill can help me with effective
conversation to the customers for selling of the commodities. Along with, though I don't have
any work experience rather than part time job, but I am sure that I can run my organisation
smoothly.
3. Gaps needed to close
After completing of my studies, I will be opening my own company which will be
specialises in selling of clothing and supplements to the customers who will be related to fitness
industry. For running of my organisation, I should have all the entrepreneurship skills which
helps in smooth running of the company. The entrepreneurship skills contain all the elements
which are required for entrepreneur such as communication skills, marketing skills, decision
making and many more. For becoming an entrepreneur, I have all the qualification in my related
field and experience in doing part time job from last 3 years. As I have all the qualification and
skills for becoming an entrepreneur, still I have to work on my communication skills and
marketing skills. These skills are needed to be improved so that I will be able to communicate
with people and also try to sell the products in an effective manner. Communication skills not
only helps in making conversation with the people effectively but also helps in exchanging the
thoughts and ideas as well as negotiating the deals with them. These gaps are needed to be filled
which helps in smooth functioning of the organisation. For filling of the gap, I have to develop
an action plan for myself in which the skills I have develop will be specified in details that how
will I able to it and in how much time. Along with this, it also included the challenges that I have
