There are certain comments statingthat the actor can fall into trouble because of the content that has been written in the diary. The main aim of the paper is to evaluate the media law and its provisions in order to givesupport site of gossip. Simultaneously there are other cases that have been analyzed in orderto give a certain recommendation about the things that should be done by the editor:The primary legal issue is that the site has published data which have the power to decline thefame of the actor. As per as Pearson, the decline in the fame of the actor is a case ofdefamation or in other words, the actor Sam Sleazy has been defamed. For this reason, theactor Sam Sleazy has full authority to file a suit against the gossip site and bring charges ofdefamation against them. Moreover Pearson states that allegations of defamation can arise when "imputation" exists. This shows that the content or the writing about the actor or any other person have shudderedthe fame. Moreover, the individual who complains about getting defamed must be able toshow sufficient evidence stating that the published item has defamed him or her. There aremany ways and methods in order to make such circumstance happen. In order to provedefamation the person's name can be stated in the item or if the material would haveinformation that is relevant to the traits of the affected person. Pearson has stated that in order to fighta defamation case one has eight types of defences. The possible defences are "justification, contextual truth, proper privilege, true statements, honesty in giving opinions, qualifiedprivilege, ignorant dissemination and the last one is triviality". It is advised to the person ofthe site to emphasis on the three defences as told by Pearson. The three main defences are"justification, fair reporting and fair comments". Justification is considered as the primarytype of defence and Pearson states that this type of defence tells that an individual who hasbeen charged for defamation would go for proving and states that the imputations ascontained in the material are satisfactory and are real facts. Adhering to this the entertainmentsite can utilize the diary that was written by the 14-year-old boy. Simultaneously it can betold that the diary is problematic because to prove a fact in the court the party has to appearwith admissible documents and witness. The case states that the diary has been done whichcould find out the process in a mysterious process. As a result if entertainment site is chargedwith defamation, it is necessary for the site to place a diary in front of the judge along withthe relevant witness or the individuals who had possessions of the diary. Besides, the boy canbecome a witness and give confirmation to the law. He would say that the diary was under hispossession.
