Step 1: The short story
In the kitchen, the cooks worked on the menu, as the people in the house ran about preparing for
the guests coming for lunch. As my Grandma was engrossed applying lipstick on her wrinkled lips, I
noticed a writhing image on the window glass. I recognised that it was a big snake who was
struggling to enter the room. I gave a loud scream, and drew attention of all the housemates,
suddenly, out of nowhere the cook came running and with a precision threw the machete on the
snake. The machete worked excellently and like a popcorn popping out of the pot, the head got
severed from its body.
Step 2: The Analysis Reflection
The analysis said that my essay was Fit and Trim, implying that the composition was excellent. The
only area where my composition needs to improve is in the verb and prepositions. I am satisfied
with my composition and will strive to improve further. The test revealed the places where I went
wrong, and I feel it was a learning experience. I would return back later frequently to see my
improvement and keep working till all my parameters do not fall in the Lean category.
Step 3: The Typing Test Reflection
In my typing test, I scored as an average typist. My gross typing speed was 50 and errors were 6.
The typing test was a bit challenging, as I found it little difficult to read the text and type. The
prime errors were in capitalizing proper nouns and placing punctuations. I would keep the feedback
in my mind and will work on the mistakes.
