preventive, promotional, rehabilitative health care services in
most appropriate systematic way to general public or
communities.
 Health care professional are also known as health care
practitioner or health care provider.

It involves:

• Nurse
• Teacher
• Lawyer
• General practitioner

LEGISLATION, POLICIES AND REPORT
It involves following laws and legislation:
• NHS and Community Care Act 1990
• Health Act 1999
• Health and social care act 2012
• The health and social care act 2014

NHS AND COMMUNITY CARE ACT 1990
• According to this particular act, any adult aged people that is eligible
and need services from local authority.
• Everyone that is eligible has the option to expect that the services they
receive are related with tailored to meet their need.

HEALTH ACT 1999
• This particular act is entirely aimed to make medication in the quality
of care that is provided to the patient by NHS.
• Made a wide number of provision intended to improve the coordination
of care among local authorities.

HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE ACT 2012
• This particular act is basically related with the extensive reorganisation
of the framework that has been followed in the UK.
• The proposal used to consist of act that some of the coalition
government are most controversial.

Roles and responsibilities of individuals working in

 As in present times the trust, Lea Vale foundation is an integrated
health centre and providing inefficient and ineffective services
regarding health of general public.
 Therefore in order to rectifying this problem the senior managers of
the foundation wants to analyse the workings of individuals by
knowing their roles and responsibilities.

center for rare diseases etc.

conduct
 The personal and professional values of health care practitioner affects
the clinical decisions. Values for the individuals or health care
practitioner can helps in improvement of patient health related decisions
taken by the individual practitioners and inter professional teams.
 Some values of health care practitioners are capability, professionalism,
intellectual stimulation, critical thinking, equality etc. the most
prominent value are altruism, equality and capability.

 Multidisciplinary team enjoys several benefits to both patients and health
professionals.
