Digital technologyenabled firm to deliver additional facilities to clients. It has also provided business entity anopportunity to reach wide number of customers and provide them with products or services.Digital technology has helped an enterprise in increasing sales and profitability. It has providedbusiness owner or manager analyse the way business is perceived by their clients. Digitaltechnology allows an organisation to facilitates the direct interaction with consumers andinfluence them to buy the products or services offered by company.Digital technology also enables manager to gain the important information related to themarket , customers and competitors. It also enables business entity to make important changes inbusiness system , goods or services. In addition to social media platform has helped businessentity in providing good or memorable experience to clients. Aim is defined as the purpose for which theresearch activity has been conducted by the scholar. The aim of the present study is to analysethe impact of digital technology on the sales of business in context of Tesco organisation.Objectives- It is considered to be as important tool which assist researcher in making planningprocedures. Designing of objectives is recognised as strategic activity. Objectives are alsorecognised as the overall plan made by the scholar in order to achieve desired outcome ormission. The purpose of present investigation process is :To develop the understanding about the effect of digital technology on the sales activityof an organisation.
To analyse the implication of digital technology in increasing sales.To identify the way digital technology or social media platform assist business entity inincreasing sales.To determine the impact of digital technology on business growth.To increase the sales by 10 percent within six months.To improve customer services by implementing the digital technology.To provide the customers with additional facilities such as online payment , acers s tocompany information.To suggest the strategies which can be utilised by an organisation for increasing sales.To recommend the techniques which can be applied by firm in order to yield maximumbenefit by employing digital technology at workplace.To develop digital strategy in order to supports an organisation in increasing sales andprofitability.P 2 Project management plan After the establishment of the aims and objectives fort the research, next task is designsuitable project management plan. It assists the investigator in identifying the resources whichwill be required by them in order to conduct survey in systematic manner. Project managementplan also supports researchers in analysis the several obstacles which might occur in exciting theresearch activity (Huang and Sarigöllü, 2014). It also consists of the detail about the differenttask or action which will be taken by scholar in order reaching conclusion as well s for achievingdesired outcome. Project management plans also covers various other aspect of investigationsuch as cost , time, quality , communication , resources , ethical considerations etc.Cost : This is considered to be the important part of research activity. There are bothfixed and variable costs are associated with the execution of investigation process. The amountof cost which will occurred dependents non the nature of project as well as on number ofactivities which will be conducted during the survey. The economic factors such as inflation ,change in tax etc. (Higginbottom and Liamputtong, eds., 2015.) Has direct as well as majorinfluence on the cost factor which is required to be conduced by the scholar when making the
plan for investigation process. Some fix expenses associated with the research activity includescommunication , transportation , stationery etc.Quality : This is another important elements in project management plan. Quality is thefactors which has direct influencer ion the decision made by the researcher, Scholar is need toconcentrate on the quality when collecting the data or information from the participants. Itshould also be considered when presenting the information.Time : It is the important constituents , as in investigation procedure each and every taskis interlinked with each other .Error due to limitation of time can have negative impact onoutcome. Time factor also have adverse effect on the quality of work .It is required by theresearch to apply timer management strategy. As this strategy will help scholar in completing theproject on time.Resources: These are the important part of investigation plan,.As lack of resources cancreate barriers in completing the project. Researcher need to use the various types of resourcesfor executing different tasks during the investigation procedure. Some resources which arerequired for facilitating survey include technology,capital,human resource, machinery, stationery, communication devices, and other equipments (Guercini, 2014). Resources are also required forimplementing the plans, strategies. In context of present study raw material or physicalresources will be required by researcher for executing the investigation in systematic manner.Communication : it is very much significant for investigator to ensure the smooth flowof information as well as effective communication between the people those who are associatedwith the project. As suitable communication strategy will help scholar in preventing theduplication of task as well as resources. There are different communication devices as well toolswhich can be used by the researcher during investigation process. In present study , investigatorwill utilise telephone , notice , e-m ail , social media sites for facilitating the interaction withparticipants or other people during the investigation procedure.Ethical considerations: It is very crucial element in research Plan. Ethicalconsiderations are required to be made by researcher during investigation. As ethical issues arenot managed properly then it might have negative effect on the image of scholar. In presentinvestigation , researcher speciality have focus on quality of the information which has beengathered through different sources. As there are high chances of plagiarism. Before conducting
the interview procedure or survey , all the participants were informed about the objective ofstudy.Risk – there are several types of risk which might occur in facilitating the investigationprocedure. One of the major risk is ethical issues which have direct as well as significantinfluence on the reputation of an organisation a well as image of scholar (Husted, Henriques,and Crane, 2018). The other types of risk is communication failure or bad weather condition ,unfavourable political situation in country can create major barriers in the execution of researchactivity.P3 Work break down structure and Gantt chart Work break down structure is defined as the project management engineering tool. Itassists scholar in managing the people as well as different task in systematic manner. Workbreakdown structure also supports researcher in making the task or activities understandable aswell as easier. It also supports project manager in managing or reducing the work load. Workbreak down structure is considered to be as suitable tool which assist researcher in organisingthe actions in appropriate manner (Lebow, 2018). It also helps scholar in completing the surveyin systematic , effective and coefficient manner. Gantt is defined as the graphical representation which consists of the sequence in whichthe various activities will be executed during the investigation process. It is considerer to be aseffective tool as Gantt chart supports project manager or scholar in preventing the overlapping ofactivities.
