TITLE: The impact of digital technology on travel agencies - A study of Brightsun travelagency INTRODUCTIONIn today's world, digital technology has made a great impact upon each businessfunctionalities. Technology plays a vital part for the travelling sector of UK to implementnecessary changes in organisational structure of industry. Digital technology may implement byits professionals upon its variety of business functionalities in respect to making easier day today practices of business (Barrett and et.al., 2015). The present research will concentrate on corebusiness process of Brightsun such as marketing, human resource, supply chain and order takingprocess, etc. Apart from that, the researcher will concentrate on analysing the researcherquestions or aim and objectives of the study to knowing about influences of digital technologyupon execution of various operational practices of Brightsun travel agency in industry. BACKGROUND OF STUDYThe major focus of the investigation upon knowing main influences of digital technologyupon various operational practices of Brightsun travel agency in UK. The research has conductedon Brightsun organisation which is UK based small travelling agency. In addition, from SMEs tolarge scale travelling organisations are implementing digital technological applications in termsof enhancing their business productivity and profitability in industry. It has examined that,travelling sector one of the emerging sector in UK which is adopting variety of advanced digitaltechnologies in terms of gaining sufficient amount of success (Benckendorff, Sheldon andFesenmaier, 2014). The research will focus on the selection of digital technology to improve theperformance of the business in industry. Apart from that, the study will be focused on literaturereview upon major objectives of the research project in order to examining the importance ofdigital technology and hallenges facing by Brightsun organisation to applying digital technology.Moreover, the research will be discussed to enrich the topic. Investigator will examine applicablearticles in context to make research more robust and effective. Aims and objectives of studyAim of the research project is “ Tio analysing the influences of digital technologyapplications upon daily business operational activities of Brightsun, UK”.1
