This research project investigates the effects of drug use on teenage Black African communities in London. It explores the reasons behind drug addiction in this demographic, analyzes the symptoms and consequences of drug abuse, and examines the role of care home services in addressing the issue. The study utilizes a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative data collected through surveys and interviews with NHS staff members. The findings highlight the prevalence of drug use among teenagers, particularly those from Black African communities, and the significant impact it has on their mental and physical health, as well as their social well-being. The research concludes with recommendations for addressing the problem, including raising awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and providing more support services for affected individuals and communities.
