growing awareness of the importance of understanding people and their relationships,
especially if they were to be motivated to perform effectively.”
“The essence of leadership in organizations is influencing and facilitating individual and
collective efforts to accomplish shared objectives. Leaders can improve the performance of a
team or organization by influencing the processes that determine performance.” (Yukl, 2012)
“Successful leaders of such firms must continuously learn and adapt to highly dynamic
situations that are often dissimilar in their leadership needs.” (Kearney and Langer, 2018)
“The stress affects the quality of leadership and may create inferiority among those who
adhere to a single quality. Therefore, leaders need to adopt the combination of styles to
ensure that all parts of the organisation are functioning well while ensuring a maximum level
of performance.” (Al Zuned, 2017)
Reason for choosing this theme:
I chose my research topic about the impact of effective leadership strategies in business
organisation because I’m interested aboutmanagement and leadership in the company.
My interest is the importance of leadership, especially effective leadership in the today’s
world. Also, I’m interested in which strategies about leadershipshould implement in the
business organisation. I want to discover how the impact of effective leadership can
development the business.
My motivation to grow up in my career for getting a right knowledge about leadership and
how to be a good leadership for organisation performance. My career plan is most important
for my future that why I want to explore this area it will also help me to make decisions and
will help me to apply for suitable job. I know that a company which have a good leader can
improve productivity and be successful.
Aim:
Why is it important to have effective leadership strategies for a business organisation?
How the aim will be achieved:

The aim will be achieved because I will read about my theme and I will do research
for understanding the knowledge about effective leadership. I will use e-library to do my
research and the tutor will help me to achieve the aim of the project.
I will choose 3 sub-topics for the main idea.Those will be:
Importance of effective leadership to have a better team performance.
Became an effective leadership to grow up the business.

Why is it important to have effective leadership strategies for a business organisation?
As per the views of Jessica Leitch and David Lancefiled, (2020), It has been determined
leadership strategies are very important for organisation as it support in attaining business
goal. It is crucial for company to develop and create effective and strong strategies for
business as this will support in gaining competitive advantage over other rival companies (10
principles of strategic leadership, 2020). Leadership can be describe as the capability of
individual in which they can enhance and improve the performance of employees. The
leadership skills are very supportive influencing employees capability and potential (Priest and
Gass, 2017). It is crucial for organisation to develop strong business strategies as well as
support organisation to attain its objective. Business leadership strategies can be describe as
ability of organisation to manage its services and focus on attaining of goals. There are
different types of leadership styles such as democratic, autocratic, participative, supportive
and so on. All of these leadership styles are beneficial of organisation in attaining desired
goals as well as meeting with the set objective of organisation. effective leadership strategies
are considered to be important for organisation as it include both internal and external
stakeholder of company. leadership strategies that is developed by organisation will support
in ensuring the set goals of business is timely achieved and its vision is successfully
maintained. It is responsibility of leaders to make sure that all task and activities of
organisation is on track and employees are performing business task as per the requirement of
business. Through effective leadership company is able to inspire its employees as well as
enhance their morale. Leadership strategies of organisation will assist business in developing
action plan of company towards the embracing of diversity in business (Black, 2015).
Leadership is consider as the crucial part of organisation as it support in increasing the level
