I am disagreeing with this statement that organizational structure does not influence effective
communication in an organisation. The organizational structure is very effective while
communicating in the organisation. Effective communication only develops a good
organisation and helps in performing the basic functions of the management (Roth, 2014).
Organizational structure promotes the healthy and open communication in the organisation.
In the organizational clear hierarchy chain of command is followed. Through this chain, the
communication is done in the organisation by knowing exactly who is in the charge. In a flat
organizational structure, the direct communication is done in which all the employees of the
organisation promotes the free flow of the information and the ideas. No organizational
structure could work better if they don’t have a good communication. So, the right
communication at the right time is the main organizational goal. If the CEO of the company
doesn’t communicate directly with its employees regarding the authority then the employees
couldn’t function properly. So, the organizational structure and the proper way of
communication are needed to achieve the objectives of the company (Binder, 2016).
The organizational structure follows the hierarchy and chain of command that works best and
effective in the organisation. The organizational structure depends upon the organizational
