Introduction
Retailers of grocery face continuous challenges in providing a plethora of
services and products to satisfy costs controlling to promote such offerings and
customers demand. Grocery retailers can face failure i.e. poor patronage and
high operating costs because of common OS occurrences and OOS in a
competitive environment intensively, where customer patronage and store
loyalty are critical (Crisafulli and Singh 2017). Together as indicators of desired
performance, grocery retailers make sure that they provide right product at right
place with right price and at right time (Kumar, Anand and Song 2017). If
anything of these are not achieved then the losing customer risk turns into

events of OOS are concerned with the activities of in-store, 72% of the events of
the OOS of the root cause are held in the store, activities that are linked
primarily, like ordering practices of store-based, operations of self-based and
processes of replenishment (Avegliano and Cardonha 2014). In past OSA cares
for customer along with characteristics and product variables so that it can also
affect the turnover of products? So as to understand how OS and OAS affect the
OSA of stock level of stores, it should be checked for the factors that are related
to the both phenomena.
The supply chain with availability of product is important to make sure
about the schedules of production that are maintained or not, warehouses are
properly stocked and the supply chain or end retailers can provide the supplies
that are reliable for their final customer (Fredendall and Hill 2016). As part of
retailing, obtaining stock of OSA should have the capacity to provide a reliable
goods of supply on the shelves that are displayed. Positive experience are
