This research paper investigates the role of social media in promoting employability, focusing on the case study of Sainsbury's, a prominent grocery chain in the UK. The study explores the perceptions of Sainsbury's employees regarding the influence of social media on their employability, the effectiveness of social media in finding job vacancies, and the role of social media in selecting the right employee. The research methodology involves a quantitative approach, utilizing a questionnaire survey of 50 Sainsbury's employees. The findings reveal that social media plays a significant role in motivating employability, with a majority of respondents believing it is an effective tool for finding job vacancies and selecting the right employee. The study also highlights the importance of social media in promoting work culture within the organization. The paper concludes that social media has become an integral part of the recruitment process, offering both opportunities and challenges for employers and job seekers alike.
