digitizing the kitchen systems so it improves productivity. For this respect, Adams Restaurant
Birmingham is taken in to consideration. From the findings, it can be stated that workers face
difficulty to understand the digitized system as they think it is complex. In order to over this,
employees should be provided with intensive training so that they are able to develop their skills

mind. With this respect, there are certain set of factors that are considered by service users in
which it includes quality, quantity, price, etc. When there is improvement in technology, then it
becomes favourable enough to raise the satisfaction level of customers. Digitizing can be
determined to be major change in technological and enables to lead all sectors. Organizations are
understanding the importance of digital technology and they have focused on using them. This is
generally adopted so that the time consumed can be reduced (Tanpure, Shidankar and Joshi,
2013). In restaurants and hotels, the kitchen appliance are digitized and they all work on remote
and sensors that enable to reduce the time taken for providing services to customers. The present
research it focused on Adams Restaurant which is located at Birmingham UK. Cited firm aim at
delivering their customers with high quality services. There are certain set of issues that are faced
in which cited firm is not able to perform with their full efficiency and the main reason for this
cause is not making use of digitalized kitchen appliances. There are many importance of the
improvement that are made in this area and the step that has to be considered so that it is possible
for the firm to implement them in effective manner.

requires to have frequent research to be conducted so that management is able to understand the
requirement of customers and accordingly changes are made for the type of services and
products that are delivered (Cheong, Chiew and Yap, 2010). Further, there is Kitchen display
system that is basically an information and ordering system that is displayed in Kitchen backend.
This is done so that the efficiency of the restaurant can be improved. Employees are the face of
organization as they have direct interaction with customers. It is important that they have proper
understand about the roles and responsibilities that they have to play. When they are not able to
perform with their full efficiency, then there are negative impacts over the business. There are
conditions in which workers fail to perform effectively and one of the reason is work load. When
employees are burdened with work, then they get demotivated. In this context, digitalization is
highly effective to reduce the load of workers and in minimum efforts they are able to provide
higher quality of services. Apart from this, the rate of waste that happen in restaurant is high.
When there is implemented of system like Kitchen display system, then firm is able to make
proper control over the waste that occurs. In addition to this, it enables to improve inventory
management.

There are many firms that deliver their customers with similar set of products and
services. They all make use of strategies so that they are able to attract more and more
customers. Further, customers’ expectations are increasing and with increase in competition
service users have vide options from where they can meet their requirements. With the help of
improved or new technology, it enables to raise the sales and profitability (Tan and Chang,
2010). Further, the main advantage that restaurants get when digitalization is used, they can
make improvement in the manufacturing unit in which the food can be prepared better and faster.

understanding the requirements. It is important for the business to make sure that they take up
appropriate steps so that they are able to understand the requirement of customers and
appropriate steps are taken. An overview of digitized technology is provided in which all the
employees are able to improve their quality of services. This chapter provided adequate
information in which there are both positive and negative that are faced by each worker. Main
focus of the research is made on the services that are delivered by Adams Restaurant. Further,
there are proper analysis made in which all the research methodologies that will be adopted are

Intensive training: Workers are provided with training but they are not able to develop
their understanding in positive manner. There are majority of workers who think that the system
applied is complex and difficult to understand. In this context, intensive training should be
provided to workers so that they are able to understand the system and make use of them
effectively. There are worker who will prefer to have theoretical learning and there will be some
