The International Union for
Health Promotion and
Education is a non governmental
organization which operates
globally to promote health facilities
across countries (Iuhpe.org., 2020).
The aim of the organization is to
enhance the well being and health
of people through various activities
which include community action as
well as education. The organization contributes and
helps to develop effective
public policies to uphold rights of
people which allow, to have access
to good healthcare facility and
services.
IUHPE helps in the process of
reducing social inequalities by
allowing people to have access to
health care and improving
standards of living which are often
denied to specific class of people of
the society.
IUHPE operates though its
headquarters which coordinates
with the regional offices to facilitate
resources, knowledge and skills to
successfully execute the goals for
the advancement of health
education, health promotion and
public health quality.

aid to provide resources and facilities to the

discrimination, inequality and neglect

health programs and benefits which can

Here, the nurses have great role to play,

agencies play pivotal roles to evaluate
the system and its functioning.
They even influence the policies to offer
better services so that people do not
face discrimination and have access to
standard health care facilities.
Therefore, nurses should also have
