World War 2- “The Second World War would have ended faster if the internet was
invented earlier than it was. Why? Because millions of Germans back home were being lied to

question of war exhaustion. If a German joining the army in December 1944 knew the real
situation of the war and that sooner or later, he would inevitably be dead or a POW he wouldn’t
have signed up for that. Considering the internet and better global connectivity, it would be
easier for Germans in Germany to realise their plight before it was too late for them.”(Pinto,
