HISTORICAL BACKGROUND OF IMMIGRATION IN CANADA
The movement of the different nationals between the different nations has been the
central of the history of Canada since the beginning of its sociopolitical history. The event of
the Canadian immigration policy does not include one of the factors that affect the population
growth of Canada. Many of the new British rulers of Quebec leave the Canadian colony in
the quiet backwater of the Canadian empire. Most of the inhabitants of Canada migrated
mainly to the Northern part of the Canadian landmass (Garcea & Kikulwe, 2019). Canada
often proved to be the second choice as it provided for the countless immigrants for the future
who came to stay at those homes that are undesirable and the entry elsewhere on the country
often in the US was restricted.
Throughout the mid-19th century the different colonies of Canada especially in the
western part of Canada returned to the pattern of a very slow and erratic pattern of the level
of economic growth in Canada. The new immigrants were generally found to be similar the
various aspects of the established community. The famine that occurred in that took place in
Ireland resulted in the migration of several residents from Europe to the Canadian region.

VIEWPOINT ON THE ISSUE OF MIGRATION
The present liberal party of Canada which is led by Justin Trudeau, has from its very
inception promised for the several improvements to the immigration systems and the policies
of Canada throughout their period of campaigning for their political party. The several
initiatives taken by the liberal party of Canada makes the fact evident that the Liberal party of
Canada has encouraged the process of immigration from its very inception. The first initiative
