The topic allows fordeveloping an operational plan to respond to business by conducting research on the resourcerequirements, management of relationship with stakeholders, setting up of performanceindicators, create a contingency plan and lastly to gain approval according to the requirements ofthe organization. The operational plan has been developed by BBQfun to define the variousbusiness activities that are needed to be managed for supporting the strategic objectives and planfor proper upper management (Austin 2012). 1. BBQfun scenarioThe mission of the organization is to provide the customers with good quality outdoorlifestyle products of greater value and better customer services to people to fulfill their needs andexpectations. The vision of the company is to remain successful within the business environmentand emerge as a leading and reputed retailer in the next five years. The values offered includegood quality products and services, better customers’ services and promoting safety, teamwork,innovation and improvements on a continuous basis (Burgoyne 2012). 2. Summary of BBQfun operational environmenta. Legislative and regulatory contextThe legislative and regulatory policies include Work Health and Safety Act 2011, PrivacyAct, Competition and consumer Act, Fair Work Act, etc. Work Health and safety Act is followedto ensure that proper health and safety measures are maintained within the workplace of BBQfun

Anti-discrimination policyensured preventing any form of discrimination based on race, religion, color or ethnicity evenmaintain good culture, peace and harmony within the workplace to allow for effectivecommunication and teamwork (Boin, Stern and Sundelius 2016). c. role of an operational plan for implementing e-commerce strategyThe e-commerce strategy implementation is part of the operational plan to managebuying of products online. This would also allow the company to manage the commercialtransactions through use of internet with much more ease and convenience. It is important toupdate the website, maintain confidentiality, manage liability and enhance the website design forattracting more customers and increase sales revenue for BBQfun (Austin 2012). d. new operational plan BBQfun has developed an operational plan for defining the business activities and ensurethat those support the strategic objectives to plan for future growth and success. The overallprocess of planning is focused on for developing an operational plan by keeping all the resourcesmanaged and allocated properly (Nahavandi 2016). This would accomplish the goal ofpromoting business online and generate more sales revenue.
