Introduction
The report is prepared to examine the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility
(CSR) in the present business situations. This report explains the meaning of Corporate
Social Responsibility and defines its significance in today's world. The study explains the
role of CSR in the operations of the business. To understand the clear picture of the CSR and
its role in the organization analysis is performed in the report. The analysis includes the
evaluation of the CSR structure of different organizations and the study of the CSR fulfilled
by them. It also explains the benefits derived by the organization by fulfilling their corporate
social responsibility.
Meaning of Corporate Social Responsibility
Corporate Social Responsibility generally known as CSR defines the responsibility of
the corporates towards their stakeholders which include; the society in which the business
operates, the employees of the company, the environment and the other stakeholders
(Schrempf-Stirling, Palazzo, & Phillips, 2016). The execution of CSR practices in the
enterprises supports the social, economic and environmental growth and sustainability. The
major aim of the CSR policy is to maintain sustainability in the company. It is a structure
which is followed by the entity to satisfy the stakeholders of the company and also to
maintain its market reputation (Ağan, Kuzey, Acar, & Açıkgöz, 2016).
Role of Corporate Social Responsibility in today’s world
In today's world, companies need to fulfill their responsibility towards society as it
impacts the profitability of the company. The consumers incline their trades towards the
businesses who fulfill their corporate social responsibility (Story, & Neves, 2015). The CSR
fulfillment of the companies means the gratefulness expressed by the entities by the means of
