A TPS system is a special business grade system that is used to support the various transactional
processes in different business units for example the accounting systems such as Quick books is
a typical TPS system that records various financial transactions (Torossian & Maxwell, 2012).
MIS
These types of systems generally make use of IT to help the various managers ensure there is an
efficient and smooth running of the various operations. The data collected by these systems can
be used to evaluate the performance level of the company. Sage, a human resource management
is a good example of the MIS
DSS
The Decision support system is those that gather and analyse data and produce actionable
reports. The key feature is more visuals and dashboards (Yu et al., 2015). In the company, Data
studio is one such system
EIS
Executive Information Systems is a special DSS which majorly used by the executives in their
decision making apparatus . In the company, the IPTIM system is a good example of EIS
