business entity in the respective market. This report is based on the case study of the Tesco

Company in respect to its financial performance. The organisation was established in the year
1919. The founder of the company is Jack Cohen. Headquarter of the company is located in
England, United Kingdom. Company is currently operating its operations at approximately
7005 locations in United Kingdom and all other locations. This report is project the financial
management of the organisation in context to the existing market trends. Henceforth, reports
will emphasis over the financial performance of the organisation with support of different
financial management tools. Comparative analysis of the organization with other business
entities will also conduct in this project. Ratio analysis will also be done to project the overall
performance of the entity in respective market. Furthermore, report will discuss different risk
factor affecting the business in the existing crisis situation.

sales of company. COVID [pandemic has created a risk of closing up stores of the Tesco is
major that influenced the overall growth and development of the business entity. Along with
this financial risk is another major risk that has been associated with the Tesco Company in
the existing covid situation of company (Cunningham and et.al., 2020). The business
operations contained risk regarding financial resources involved in channelizing different
business operations of the organisation. As the financial resources are limited in number that
allows the business entity to suffer financial losses in against to the side effects of the covid
pandemic. This is short run risk element that could influence the business operations of the
organisation in respective market.
Sustainability of the business has also challenged in the period of covid. The risk
related to the business sustainability has also suffered by the Tesco Company as the pandemic
could completely slow down the overall sales of the organisation that could further allow the
organisation to face risk regarding business sustainability (Donthu and Gustafsson, 2020).

Growth of company is among the key objective behind the business operations entertained by
the organisation. In such a situation the pandemic has created a huge risk in regards to the

make the business instable as it completely influence the investment business entity will
receive in the near time against all its business expansion and development related plans. This
rik could allow the company to suffer the low growth and development possibility of the
organisation. This can be indicated as the long term risk factor that could make business
