INTRODUCTION
In current era, social media and digital marketing plays significant role in
development of various companies. These are basically internet based tools which are
used to reach millions of individuals for promotion through pop-ups, ads, content
promotion, pay per click, etc. Nowadays, people are considering e-marketing
techniques as it it more effective as compared to traditional approach. It is more
convenient for public to access social media as internet connection is termed as
requisite. It creates prominent opportunities for companies to reach their customers and
take quick feedbacks for making necessary up-gradation in their products and services.
It is considered as improvising tool which modify existing sales as well as branding of
varying products. In this report, various marketing mix, digital marketing, social media
marketing, communication mix will be discussed here. This will also include pictures of
relevant social media campaigns in regard with digital marketing and social media
exposure.

Marketing
It is regarded as method of achieving prospective customers who seek interest in
products and services of respective. Marketing is an intersecting point which is
connecting both seller and buyer. It is a concept of understanding needs of perspective
customers and also focusing on building healthy relations with them. It is considered as
key point for success of any organisation in long run (Song, Kim and Park, 2019). The
main purpose of marketing is retain attention from target area, persuade customer's

mindset to purchase a products, render customer based services such as after sales
services, exchange of defective items, etc. Marketing's essential function is promotion
and assistance between seller and buyer in regard with exchange. This process is
executable only after involvement of at least two parties.
Concept of marketing mix and communication mix
Marketing mix is known as set of elements which a company utilize in order to
promote its product and services in marketplace. This term is broadly consists of 7Ps
which suggests price, product, place, promotion, people, process and physical
evidence. Sainsbury's is a chain of supermarket which is operating with 30000 plus
product lines with its own label. It provides convenience services to customers through
proper counter, various checkouts, self service counters, etc. Sainsbury's gives value
for money through adoption of price effective strategies and various marketing
strategies in this regard. These acronym can be discussed as follows in brief:
Price: It is necessary for a company to evaluate its pricing policies in effective
manner to sustain in market. Sainsbury's strategy is based on rendering best
quality products in exchange of valid price. Therefore, it is focused to maintain its
quality standards in order to retain customers for long term.
Product: The product should be based on customer's expectations and needs to
maintain market share of organisation. This is necessary for any organisation to
review its competitor's product strategies to make unique product line as per
requirements of customers. Sainsbury's USP is to produce brand variety of
products to advance its portfolio in respective industry.
