INTRODUCTION
Digital marketing refers to any form of marketing the goods and services that reflects the
involvement of electronic device. It is highly advantageous for the business in their survival.
Present market situation is highly emphasis on digital marketing in which social media
marketing is very trending that offers the major benefits to the success of the business enterprise.
This contains the major benefits by enhancing customer base and it also increase the brand
image. It also creating the awareness in the customers related to products and services which is
very helpful to take the decisions related to buying. It includes the explanation of marketing,
marketing mix, digital marketing, and social media marketing so that company can effectively
communicate their customers. This report is based on the Vodafone Plc. that is one of the largest
British Owned telecommunication company. It is headquartered in London UK(Yazdanparast,
Joseph and Muniz, 2016).

Explanation of marketing
As per the CIM definition of marketing it is defined as the process that is mainly
dependent on satisfying the needs and demands of customers by recognizing tier requirements
for enhancing the high profits and sustainability in the efficient manner. Marketing is a
management procedure that can meet the demands of customers and achieving their overall
objectives to earns a high profits and revenues. With in the existing market there is high
competition is present due to this company need skillful employee who have high knowledge
regarding marketing so that they can satisfy the customer’s demands in an appropriate
manner(Heinze and et. al., 2020).
Marketing is an essential activity that majorly required high communication, delivery of
goods, exchange of offerings with market clients and customers for creating an enlarge pool with
the society. It is an integration of several activities that involves promotion, selling of offerings
etc. is shown. These functions can be performed by the manager on behalf of organisation so that
they can develop their customer base and profits. In terms of Vodafone, marketing is very
prominent term that helps in attracting and gaining customer attention.

Marketing mix refers to the sum of 7 Ps that are related to the aspect of marketing. In this
communication mix refers to those determinants that are useful for interaction between
customers and organisation so that awareness can be created regarding goods and services. In
case of Vodafone elements of marketing mix is shown below:
Product- Vodafone is offering the telecommunications services to their users in this
sector they are very prominent within market. In this organisation can adopts the high
technology features such as 5G network service that also includes the high speed
broadband that helps in covering the huge people within market by their prominent
services(Chaffey, 2019).
Price- Vodafone is adopted the competitive pricing in which they attracts the large
number of audience in their telecommunication sector. In this firm is having the high
technology specifications such as 5G network service, high speed broadband services by
which they cover the huge market audience by growing the prominent speed within the
market.
Place- As Vodafone is the leading company that was headquartered in UK but their
services are deliver in all over the globe majorly Europe, Africa, Asia and Middle East.
The company is presenting their operations within 25 countries and making partnership
with more than 47 countries for developing and maximizes their market position and
share(Cole, DeNardin and Clow, 2017).
Promotion – This determinant is highly related to communication mix as this tool is used
for communicating with customers and promoting the goods and services in prominent
manner. In context of Vodafone, manager can adopts the use of digital marketing as a
promotional tool in which they could adopts the use of social marketing. This is very
prominent for customer attention gaining in recent time frameworks.
People- Vodafone having an skillful and experience sales team that are working for
satisfying the needs of customers. In this organisation can also offering the training
sessions to their staff members so that they effectively understand the customer’s
requirements in prominent manner.
