Section Two: Reasons for choosing this research project
One of the most important reason behind selecting this research is to determine the path
through which M&S can gain success during globalisation. Mark and Spenser is multinational
fashion retailer and its headquarter is located in United Kingdom. The major purpose behind
selecting this organisation is that M&S is one of the largest fashion and luxury brand of UK.
The organisation also provide various job opportunities to interested candidates all over the
world. So by using this topic researcher will be able to manage and improve analytical and
various other skills in the efficient manner.

Literature review is the research paper or document which guides to investigator in
identifying various conflicts,problems and their solution occurred at the time of
conducting various other research. Under this section the objectives behind
conducting the research will be discussed in a sequential and systematic manner.

According to the Beck, (2018) globalisation introduces as an useful and effective process
of interaction among companies, government and people in all over the world. It is an essential
process used by an organisation to globalise their business activities and functions in
international level. Globalisation is important because it directly helps in increasing the sale
and probability of the organisation by analysing the market and demand of the potential
customers.
Importance of globalisation in driving business success
According to Agnew, (2017), globalisation has helped consumers, business and
western economy in growing and enhancing its business. Globalisation directly helps
in making best use of various opportunities present at the global level. This is because
while entering into global market organisations generally uses latest technology for
attracting and improving their business in the best possible manner.
As per the point of view of Benería,Berik and Floro, (2015) Organisations can make the
best use of globalisation by using the available resources in the effective manner. For
achieving the success company's can know the strategies of its competitors. As by
doing this effective and innovative plans can be made to achieve the competitive
advantage. Plans for satisfying the needs and preferences of the customers at the
global level will also help the organisation in achieving long term success.

used by the organisations for enhancing their business for getting successful at the
international level. Some among the ways are globalisation helps in building a strong
and constant brand image in the mind of the customers and innovative marketing
strategies can be used to attract more and more customers and to achieve desirable
position in the international market.
According to the Boyden, (2015) A perfect brand image can be made by constantly
making new changes in the product and services of the organisation. As by doing this
the customers will be satisfied and the sale be increased. Innovation plays a vital role
for the enrichment of the organisation at global level. As it enables the organisation to
identify their potentiality and capability for adopting various business opportunities
in order to faces the challenges or threat in the effective manner
