Introduction
• Social determinants have a strong impact on the
condition of health inequality in Australia.
Minority community including aboriginal
Australians is not getting equal rights of living
due to incorrect viewpoint of society towards
them.
• This study is focusing on problems related to
health inequality in Australia and its potential
solutions.

Discussion
• Shortage of housing facilities and low-quality
houses in rural areas (McBain‐Rigg and
Veitch, 2011).
• Low physical environment of indigenous
people is due to poverty, which is also linked
with infectious disease.
• Food insecurity is a major problem that
indigenous people face (George et al. 2019).
• Health facilities are also not received by
indigenous people due to language and
cultural barrier.

• Adoption of culturally safe practices within the
society may help indigenous people to have health
equality (Marmot, 2011).
• Government initiatives like improving the
ventilation, drainage and other facilities must be
improved.
• From the discussion, it can be concluded that
government and society must work collaboratively to
ensure healthy equality in Australia.
