Introduction The following report provides discussion on the dream job of an individual who wants to get selected in police department. He is presently working as a social worker and after graduation, he has decided to focus upon getting entry into police department and serving there. This report also includes person specification, job specification. Graduation I have graduated from university and now I am planning to get selected in the police department. I have planned for preparing to clear the police department examination and evaluation. Role analysis The role of police includes managing and solving various complex problems and solving crime problems(Chen, Chang and Stuart, 2020).I have concluded that for becoming a good police officer, I have to manage the completion of police activities properly. I have seen that it is very important to study about Investigation Review Officers so that I would get to know what are the factors to work upon(Chow and Luzzeri, 2019).As the role of police, I have to provide assistance to directors and work with them on different investigations. Also, I have to determine complaints and reports for managing my job role as police. This experience of mine can help me in further to be a preference in police department. In addition to this experience, I also have few skills which will help me to be a great professional in police department. These skills include Physical strength, observatory skills and investigation skills. According to me, all these skills which I have developed in last few years by volunteering for social work will help me to work in police department as it is important for police professional to be observant at all the times and be aware of the surroundings.
