Introduction
The presentation is explaining about the various functions of
government or government sponsored bodies and intentional
agencies in the sector of travel and tourism. This also
describes the impacts of local and national economical
policies on TUI Group.

sponsored bodies and international
agencies
 Local government is fundamentally accountable for providing
infrastructure for the various tourist spots. Government are also
answerable for providing primary conveniences or comforts such
as water and electricity at that tourist place.

 Government sponsored bodies aids in providing system
or the private firms the permission to develop their
infrastructure which would help in proving satisfaction
to the travellers. On the short run, such strategies might
seem as non profitable while on the longer run such
policies are really act as power boosters for any of the
venture.

influencing the success of the travel and
tourism sector
 Several countries were suffered from worst economic
conditions and there was \seen a fall in annual rate of
9.9 % of GDP (Gross Domestic Product) in the the year
of 2009 in the UK.
 The main economic factor is the exchange in the value
of pound.

 Other issue faced by TUI group is seasonality as the
holiday booking is getting increased in some time
periods like at the time of festivals, winter as well as
summer vacations of children. These are the most busy
period of time of the year.
