INTRODUCTIONMusic, movement and drama play an important role in developing social, emotional andcognitive skills of children which teaches them to express themselves more physically, representfeeling and acquire fundamentals concepts and skills. Therefore, it is necessarily required forschools to implement such curriculum activity in their education system for the overall growth oftheir students (Austin, 2013). The essay is based on the value and importance of music,movement and drama which includes several aspects such as teachers' role in implementation ofmusic, movement and drama, theories and historic influences of dance and movement etc.MAIN BODYThe early childhood education, usually of children from the age of 8 and Younger, theyplay a very crucial part in the overall development and grooming of a kid. It is one of the mostcrucial time for learning as well as brain development in preparation of their education career.Playing Music and Moving on a beat of music provides a very good experience to youngchildren, which will help them in their classrooms as well as Home in an efficient manner. As achildren grows, they have to learn specific kind of activities that are essential for braindevelopment. Thus, involving Children in various music as well as dance learning activities canfurther help in their development. They will be able to learn the meaning of rhythm, usually inschool the teaching in primary classes are given with the help of music, because it helps childrenin grasping the meaning of words efficiently. Some other ways includes singing songs in rounds,marching on beat etc. Hence the importance of music and drama can not be ignored in the earlychildhood education (Bruce, 2012). Music, Movement as well as Dram is a very important pillar in early childhoodeducation. Through effective Musical activities, children can better learn and develop their skills.According to a report of UNESCO, 2007, A human being is most creative in his early childhoodlife and thus any skills trained during the age of 8 to 15 usually remains with the kid forever andhe is able to nourish the same in an efficient manner in future. The theory of drama states that a ayoung children can learn better about a particular task, if the same will be conducted throughgames and in any other form within which the kid will have natural interest. The currentgeneration Education system is somewhat Digitised, which makes it easier for kids and childrento learn better.1
