INTRODUCTION Work is defined as any acts that an individual perform in order to support certain activities and complete them in appropriate time by attending the prescribed objectives. Work population is referred and defined as a population or people involved in specified occupation and indulge in a professional setting with the motive of earning their livelihood and contributing there path towards the society. Work population are those individuals who are employed by a company or a professional body with the motive of completing their objectives and aims within the prescribed time and gender the society exactly the same of they are expecting from the business. There are several number of people involved in different activities and practices which are considered by them as work and helpful for them to earn their livelihoods. Hence, work defines individuals as skilled or unskilled people where those who have theoretical and technical knowledge of certain topics belonging to their respective fields are known as skilled individuals. These skilled people earn huge amount of salaries on the basis of their skills, capabilities and proficiency. On the other hand the second category of working people is of unskilled employees. These are those who earn their livelihood on regular basis and are paid in wages rather than salaries. Skilled and unskilled people are one type of segmentation of the working population in United Kingdom. But these individuals can also be segmented on some other bases that is dependent upon their employment contact. According to employment contract basis work defines people and their job roles according to the particular time period they are working for and within the organisation. The first form is full time worker, an individual who is working an average of 40 hours each week for the company and are entitled to get paid leaves including annual leave and sick leaves are defined as full time employees. The part time workers are those who you work less than 40 hours per week and can become permanent employee of the organisation. The third form of individuals by which work defines them are casual workers for employees. This type of employees do not have any guaranteed work hours and most commonly render their services and specialities by irregular hours off work. Also the casual worker do not receive any paid leave or annual or sick leave.
