with discrimination and are not provided equally. The Uncertainty avoidance is another
dimension of the Hofstede theory where the volunteers may face issues and even subject to some

the tourists refuse to establish communication with people from different cultures and do not
focus on the cultural aspects of that country. The volunteers have the roles and responsibilities to
make them understand the cultural differences and ensure that they can enjoy their travel
