Change management play significant role in success of business unit
(Benn, Edwards and Williams, 2014). It is essential for companies to
make changes as per the market requirements (Kotter, 2012). This
supports entities in conducting their operations smoothly and meeting
with organizational goal. Lewin’s theory, Kotter’s 8-step model of
managing changes are helpful in understanding the way of managing

modifications in business unit and determining factors that are vital
for effective change management process in organization (Cummings,
Bridgman and Brown, 2016).

The specific objective of this research are as following:
 To understand conceptual framework of change management.
 To determine importance of managing changes in business
unit.
 To evaluate theories of change management in context to
hospitality industry.
 To examine the extent to which internal and external factors
influence change management in organisation.
 To suggest ways of managing changes in hospitality industry
effectively.
Methodology
In order to complete this dissertation researcher will take support of
primary data collection sources. This will help in involving current
and real facts related to change management. Furthermore, scholar
will apply inductive approach. Investigator will use qualitative
research strategy. Researcher is planning to collect data from manager
of two hotels. Individual will randomly chose 25 mangers of these
companies those who can give answers of research questions. In
order to analysis the data scholar will apply thematic analysis tool.
Individual will prepare themes and will present data by using graphs
and charts.
