A. Ways in which theories, principles
and models of communication
In order to perform any activities, it required to have
effective communication so that they are able to develop
positive relationship with others. There are different type of
theories, models and principles that are included in
communication.

Vygotsky theory:
• This theory plays fundamental role in the process of
cognitive development. Main focus of this study is to
understand the development of child requirements and to
take up steps to raise their learning. This models provides
appropriate information to teachers so that they develop a
plan in which child development can be done. In
accordance with this theory, teachers are asked to provide
the child to imitate

There are two aspects in which imitations take place. These
are at individual level and other one is through social level.
Below given are the two aspects that are covered:
• Imitation of in a play
• Imitating parents behaviour

Implementation:
• Imitating in play: There are students in class who do not have
the skills to talk to other or child whose vocabulary is low. In
this context, stories should be developed and each of the
students needs to be given a role of characters. This way, to
play the characters, they are able to learn more and develop
their skills.
• Imitating parents: There are certain set of characters
that each of the person has and when child is asked to imitate
their parents. It enables to develop their skills and they can
also correct them. In this type of play, it requires teachers to
involve parents. For example, students can be asked for

Piaget’s Theory:
• Sensorimotor stage: All the children in this stage are
explorers. They focus on seeing, hearing, touching, taste,
etc.
• Preoperational stage: In this stage child learns to
think abstractly and to make sure of language. Child
becomes curious and starts to ask questions.

Concrete operational stage: They are
able to understand more complex
abstract concepts like quantity, space
and time.
Formal operations stage: Child
becomes more capable of theoretical,
abstract and hypothetical reasoning.

• Sensorimotor stage: For this stage, the development is made by parents. It
consists of activities like playing horsey, doggie, etc.
• Preoperational stage: Child makes use of their own type of play and
this enables them to develop their skills. For example, teachers can make
students to play games in which running or games that can be played by
making them sit to a particular place.
• Concrete operational stage: Teachers are able to focus on subjects
that make each of the child to develop their skills.
• Formal operations stage: Logical problems are given so that child gets
to develop. For example, teachers can provide students with surprise test
for logical problems in order to know their capabilities.

B. Research report which details with analysis of
theories, principles and models of communication
can be applied to teaching, learning and
assessment
• As per the type of perception that is carried out by individuals,
it can be stated that there are different forms of communication.
• At the time when teaching takes place, then there is various
type of learners, readers, kinaesthetic, aural and visuals (VARK)
identified. Lessons are designed so that all type people with
different styles can be included.
• This is the reasons due to which some of the people are able to
visually or understand better with verbal communication.

• Communication can be determined as the art of successful
sharing of information with people and this is done by
interchange of experience
