Obesity in UK: - Can NHS help to tackle the UK’s obesity epidemic?
Abstract
Obesity is a curative disorder in which extra amount of body fat is collected to a level
that may have a direct and bad effect on health. Main purpose behind preparing this report is to
analysis the impact of obesity on well-being people within United Kingdom. There are different
number of risk factors that impact on human body in direct manner. It includes the issue of
Liquid body substance thus blood Pressure, Cancer, Type 2 Diabetes, Osteoarthritis, Vessel issue
and so on. Therefore in order to overcome such type of issue NHS play vital role by
implementing heal related programs. Apart from this, there are different methods used by
researcher to collect accurate amount of data related to the topic such as Database Search, Search
Term, Research Ethics and many other. All these are more essential and effective for the
investigator to accumulate relevant and accurate amount of data about the research or topic. As a
conclusion investigation is based on the issue of Obesity and the potential influence that cause
through the increasing level of obesity among people from different age group. Research about
health care performs a vital part in developing the knowledge base of people and this specified
study provide relevant information in regards to the issue of obesity and its influence on the well-
being and living of people in UK.
Background of the Research
Increasing life spans have substance the steady that increases in human's extrinsic or
inner motive in health. A good health increases quality of life and health has become an
important aspect of maintaining a healthy life style. There has been a paradigm shift in terms of
maintaining healthy or good life. In this modern world, individuals are very much focused on
fulfilling their fundamental desires of live an easy or comfortable life with a good health
condition. Obesity and its associated co-morbidities have emerged as an essential health issue in
the developing countries, whereas it has reached epidemic proportions in industrialized nations.
Obesity is also considered as a state in which an individual has excess body fat. More than just a
figure on a scale or the size of an individual's body, obesity can enhance an individual' life
hazard of diseases and health problems, involving high blood pressure, diabetes and heart issue.
It is a complex health issue and a also considered as a major public health concern, both in the

United Kingdom and worldwide. Now a day's people are very much concern about their health
issues or condition, thus it is also important for people to aware about the health issues in respect
to receiving appropriate treatment of facilities to overcome with the issue or health conditions.
The UK is determined as the most obese country in the western Europe, Obesity is the most
common issue in the country of United Kingdom that estimated to affect around one in ever four
adults. In UK people are required to be aware about the health care awareness programs in
respect to reducing youth obesity, so that appropriate or easy living can be provided to the people
in UK. The National Health Service is the largest publicly charioted national health care group in
UK which provide cheap and free medical treatment for everyone and can be paid through taxes.
Childhood obesity have harmful effect on kids psychological and physical well-being or health
condition. Obesity in kids could result in the issue of blood pressure and high steroid alcohol,
some breathing difficulty asthma and other metabolism issues, early puberty, some cancers and
skin unhealthiness. NHS is a large healthcare organisation which is widely concern on tacking
obesity epidemic in respect to creating changes in the well-being and health condition of people.
