 Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) can be defined as the incorporation
of the best clinical expertise, research evidence and patient needs
that will result in the best medical outcome (Stewart, Chambless, &
Stirman, 2018).
 Evidence-based practice is a meticulous, problem-solving tactic to
clinical practice that combines superlative evidence from
preferences, well-designed studies, clinical expertise, and patient
values in deciding on patient care.
 It is worth noting that the last thing a patient expects when visiting
a healthcare facility for treatment is a hospital-acquired infection
(Cornejo-Juárez, et al, 2015).
