INTRODUCTION
Organization may not have the survival without the further support and investments of the third
part organization. The third sector organization have their urgent roles to pays in the recovery of
the COVID 19 situation all around the UK. As per the expert it has ben clearly warned as there
without the support and the investments of the third-party organizations, this have been turning
out to be struggles to make the survivals (Bendell, 2017). In this report there will be clear

Government and initiatives taken by the government plays important role in shaping
social economy. Government also works and function for the public and organisations in social
economy also are working for public. Organisation in social economy has contributed in
enhancing living of people and is also playing key role in supporting public services. Social
economy and organisation in social economy have also played important role in Covid-19 crisis
(Hazenberg and et.al., 2016). Some of the initiatives that have been taken by government to
shape the social economy between 1990 to present day are as follows-
Financial Assistance- This is one important initiative that has been taken by the government to
contribute in social economy. There are several ways in which government is providing financial
assistance to organisations operating in social economy. This is through direct contribution and
through subsidies. This is important that these organisations are provided financial assistance and
the reason is that financial assistance allows them to operate successfully without financial
barriers. Financial difficulties and shortage often create barrier in effective functioning and
through financial assistance this difficulty and barrier in effective performance can be removed.
Outsourcing- This means that government provide contract to social economy organisations
because they consider them similar to corporate. In such situation they contribute in operation of
the social economy and its benefit are benefits to public as these organisations are operating for
public and social interest. This is one of the important step and initiative of government in

shaping social economy. This also involve relevant as productivity, output and employment
through social economy. In this it is important that contract should be that they deliver public
interest of efficiency and effectiveness and social value (Sabates-Wheeler and et.al., 2020). This
is effective initiative as this is connect public services with those that are also providing their
services with similar motive and intention to enhance shared value and contribute in enhancing
society as a place for everyone who is a part of the society.
International Social Investment Strategy
Government has taken this initiative to position UK as a global centre for the social
economy. This strategy of the government aims at attracting social investment to UK and
encourages social enterprises from foreign to set up their organisations in UK. Along with this
government strategy also involve support to increased export and franchising by social
enterprises of UK and bring learning from successful innovation and practices of social sector.
This shows ambition and objectives of UK government concerned with their social economy and
this is why strong strategies have been developed by the government (Oslington, 2017). The
strategy of UK in context of social economy is based on revolutionizing the way that public
services are delivered and align interest of local authorities, social investors and charities. In
order to ensure effective impact of these strategies that are being developed and delivered by the
