Purpose statement
The purpose of this statement is to outline how an organization can use staff to implement
sustainability. It highlights the policy and procedures that if adopted would further cement
sustainability within an organization. These policies and procedures are geared towards
procedures to be used to engage the staff and possible opportunities they can utilize in order to
achieve sustainability within the organization.
Scope of the policy
This policy applies to all the systems, processes, assets and employees of the organization. It is
confined around particular staff within the organization to be engaged for sustainability, different
systems used by staff to realize organizational sustainability, and specific activities performed by
staff, especially the ones geared towards organizational sustainability. The scope also defines
specific types of assets to be used by staff and senior management in order to achieve
sustainability within the organization. Observing a balanced interaction among these components
would drive an organization into achieving sustainability.
Policy principles
Grow Management Consultants shares the commitment of the global community to collectively
ensure the institute sustainability through creation of sustainability initiatives awareness among
staff in order to reduce electricity consumption by 40% within the next 1 year. Our commitment
recognizes the need to adopt sustainability initiatives in order to continuously minimize both the
annual energy bill and greenhouse emissions.
Sustainability is not only one of our core strategic priorities it is entrenched in our Corporate
Plan and pervasive in our workplace culture.
This policy will comply with The Environment Protection Amendment Act 2018 as it takes
effect from 1 July 2020.
