Time management has been determined as an activity of organising, managing addition
to dividing the time among multiple tasks (Bravo-Sanzana, Bangdiwala and Miranda, 2022). If a
person manage their time effective then they will achieve their goals effective in less time even
they can also save more time for other activities. A effective time management aids a student to
complete their course or project on time along with they can use time for their personality
development. Time management balances a learner's daily routine in such a manner that they can
both relax and work effectively.

In a learner life, various tasks takes places at one's as well as they require to look after all
aspects to gain good grade in competitive environment for future development. Time
management helps students to achieve their career goals in less time and become more

activities such as reading, learning, playing, curriculum activities, assignments, family and many
more. It allows them to prioritize their work or activities on basis of what is essential for them
first. Proper utilisation of available time help learners in reducing anxiety and stress as they do
not overthink continuously about how they can manage limited time to all tasks.
Importance of time management
Proper time management plays most important role in the life of students by balancing all
activities effectively. Effective time management allows them to increase their productivity
performance addition to develop their image at school. It motivates and creates a sense of
accomplishment in student's mind to give their best for future development. By optimally
utilising the time a student can achieve more success in personal or professional life. It is
important for students to manage their time in such a way to complete projects on time. It helps
them in managing work life balance that enhances their performance academically along with

improves their relationships also (Kane and Williams, 2021). It enable them to give their full
focus on important activities as well as avoid distraction which waste their crucial time.
Effective time management maximise the productivity level of learners as they set their
targets along with works towards the achievement of them only without any distraction.
Generally students leaves things for last moment which create stress among them to complete
whole syllabus in one night to pass the examination resulting they receive lower grades or marks.
By Implementing effective time management techniques a student complete their syllabus or
course on time addition to can have more time for revision which increase their grades and
understanding. But Formulating time table is not enough they must also follow it with discipline
on regular basis because following proper time table enable them to improve their physical and
mental health condition (Knoster and Goodboy, 2020). If they manage their time effectively
then they complete their project and syllabus on time which reduces their stress and work load.
It helps them to manage and save their time that they can use in playing and extracurricular
activities for their personality development. By this they can spend more time on their hobbies
and develop various creative skills which further help them in their higher studies and
professional career. If they are unable to manage their time effectively then their sleep routine
get affected that leads to many health issues.
Adaptability and implementing of effective time management
Adopting time management and time schedule is a lengthy process that need dedication,
discipline and time so it is not easy for learners to adopt it in a day or a week. They have to
follow the same process regularly in order to develop habit of it for this they have to first
dividing the time for each task effectively. Then they have to set their goals that requires to be
completed in particular time period further, they can take decision as what they requires to do
first along with in how much they will achieve it. Dividing tasks into small steps will also helps
them to complete complex task easily. Fixing a time limit for each activity is essential as it will
enable learners to understand how much they have extra time for other activities or for their
hobbies. Some ways by which learners can manage their time or work effective are shown
below-
Divide along with prioritise- First, a student fix their target then after they must divide
their activities or tasks into two categories such as important or less important (Ritchie, 2018).
Prioritising tasks will enable them to give more focus on those activities that have more

importance such as learning about important things, studying chapter which will helps them in
future, developing various skills and many more.
Practice on regular basis and remove distraction- It is important for students to make
time table as per their requirements as well as follow it on regular basis. By practising same
things every things will aid them to get the habits easily(Won and Shirley, 2018). Also by
eliminating various distraction in their work life such as electronic gadgets, social media and
other they can increase their focus on learning which will improve their skills also. It helps them
to become more confident to conduct their performance and practices effectively in order to gain
better opportunities or grades.

It is concluded that from the above presented information that time management is most
important skill which every individual must develop to achieve success in personal and
professional life. Effective time management helps students to get more opportunities and
become successful in future. Along with every learner must develop time management skills to
prioritise and divide their task or work to get good grades in their academic life. It helps them to
reduce anxiety and stress along with boost their confidence which generates a sense of
achievement among them. It allows students to be more productive by completing easier tasks
on time as well as save extra time for complex tasks.
