THREE OPTIONS FOR THE POLICY DIRECTION AND ITS FOCUS
Tiny Opera Company was started by Colleen Starr in the late 1970 in the rural NSW. Her vision

was to spread the magic of art in the rural area and imitate Sydney Opera House in the rural area.

Tiny Opera House is running smoothly but the company has decided to make policies to

maintain the sustainability in the work environment
(Hassall et al., 2019). The options which
can be adopted by the company to maintain it are:

1.
Use of melodic sounds and sweet music instead of loud and high intensity sounds during
performances.

2.
Measures to prevent harmful chemicals in the props and using chemical free make-up.
3.
Doing theme-based performances in order to encourage people for the sustainable
development.

Summary of the three options

Tiny Opera House is an entertainment company. People of all age group are attracted to such

companies. Promoting sustainable development in these companies is very necessary. During

performances, use of loud noises and poor sound systems can lead to major health hazards.

Therefore soft and soothing music and sounds should be used and that can relax people and can

have very positive psychological effects on people (Eernstman et al., 2016). Use of good quality

and chemical free costumes and make-up can prevent health accidents and also protect

environment from harmful chemicals. All the actors of theatre needs to use props and costumes

for resembling the characters so using safe and chemical free things can be healthy. Audiences

always have major impact of dramas and films on their lives. These types of plays can give

different messages to society so themes of sustainable development should be presented in order

to spread the message of sustainability (Hassall et al., 2019).
