INTRODUCTION
Sports event tourism is totally different from other events, it refers to the visitors who visit a
city to watch any kind of event such as Olympics and the FIFA world cup. this kind of events
held in every four years, In a different countries and cities. Sports event can include any kind of
sport that people like to watch and enjoy by watching it (Carlson, and et.al., 2016).
This report will cover Cricket sports event in Goa, India. This event will be different
from the normal cricket match because it will be played on a sand beach. People who live in
India used to play cricket a lot Cause it’s one of their favourite. This event will target a local
people nearby Goa. Unique thing about this event is that it will be played on sand So people will

organised. Apart from it, country is having a strong network of rail, road and air transport. Scale
of Beach cricket is large in India as there are many fans of cricket. Besides that, there are no or
few tourism companies that exists in India to organise these type of events. Therefore,
marketplace is wide and contains vast number of opportunities. Moreover, it has been identified
that sports tourism marketplace is high in India (Perić, Vitezić, and Badurina, 2019). There are
many small events being organised which has created opportunity for large sports event. There
are basically 3 dimensions of it that are sporting activity, intentional attendance and evidence of
travel. Thus, in Beach cricket will be sports event that is organised. The audience will be
cricketers and fans who want to see this game and evidence is Indian culture and architecture
along with food and tradition. Moreover, it has been evaluated that economic revenue
generated from it will be huge. As there will be large number of audience visiting to view event
and players as well. It is stated that in sports event revenue is always high than expenditure.
However, here expenditure will be less as in Beach cricket there is no requirement of stadium.

organised. In order to organise Beach cricket there is need to identify stakeholder so that their
needs are determined. Also, their interest is analysed in it. So, here various stakeholder are
involved in it that are government, community, local government, tourism companies, citizens,
etc. they all are interest groups and are related with event. Thus, it require to find out their needs
and impact of event on them.

Risteski, 2016). Besides that, it is found that organising Beach cricket events the community

interaction is low as well as many depend from earning from tourism. In addition, issues are not
collectively solved by people.

divided into 3 groups. In each team 7 players will be there.

organised. Besides that, other sports like football, volleyball, etc. can also be included in this

transport, proper seating arrangement at venue, hotels, etc. in addition, for venue setting it only
require to built structure where it is organised.

2019). As other companies will get direction that in which way they need to move. In addition,
the government can set up certain business as well in order to sponsor and organise such event.
Thus, for that first of all vision is to be set and then planning is done for future. Along with that,
objectives are set on basis of vision that can be attained. The event will provide a platform for
companies in India to host such event and boost tourism in the nation.
