IntroductionIn the past centuries, a single technology has been dominating the companies. Most of the workwas done on papers because there were no advance systems to carry out the daily works. But,with the progress in the computer industry, spectacular progress was made. Computer systemscame but they were centralized. After that, the computers got merged with the communicationsand the organization of the computer systems got improved (Robertazzi, 2017). Earlier, onecomputer system served the needs of entire organization, but with the networking, a lot ofsystems and activities got interconnected. Thus, computer networking is a group of two or moresystems of computer that share the services and interact with each other in some manner (Baron,2015). There is a shared communication link that helps the computer systems in interacting andthe data is the shared components of that interaction. Basically, in computer networking, themachines are collected and they are linked with each other physically and with the help ofsoftware components for facilitating communication and for sharing the information in theorganizations.Research ProblemsThe organizations in today’s world, especially the IT organizations, operate in the virtual world.This is because the teams are not located in one place, they are segregated geographically, and soare its members. They meet virtually and set goals, discuss progress and perform outcomes inthe virtual world. So, they need to stay connected with each other all the time and they need toshare the resources, data etc. immediately. So, with the organizational effectiveness is dependenton the proper computer networking in place in the company.Aims and objectives of studyThe research aims to fulfill the following objectives:
